- Inspect the email address. Look for misspellings, free email accounts or domains that imitate the real company.
- Protect sensitive information. Do not provide banking passwords, PINs, full identity documents or payment before you can verify the employer.
- Trust the job details, not the excitement. Extremely high pay for vague duties, immediate offers and pressure to act quickly deserve extra scrutiny.
